Spray or dampen with warm water and apply liquid dish detergent to the stained area. Replace the towels frequently to absorb more crayon and avoid transferring the stain to other places on the fabric.
Be careful if you use the baggy of ice that the baggy does not get a lot of condensation on it which can wet the upholstery and make it more difficult for effective crayon stain removal.
